What this website knows about you

Almost nothing, and this page explains exactly what that "almost" consists of. Thailand Kids is a small ministry, not an advertising business, and the site is built accordingly: no tracking, no profiling, no data to sell.

No analyticsNobody is counting you
No cookiesSet by this site
No formsNothing to submit

The short version. This website has no contact forms, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it sets no cookies of its own. It loads its typefaces from Google, which means Google sees the request. If you email us, we have your email. If you give, the Foursquare Foundation — not Thailand Kids — handles your payment and we receive only what is needed to keep the promises made to you.

1. What this site collects

Nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no login for the public, no comment section and no shopping basket. The pages are plain HTML files. Nothing you do on them is recorded in a database, because there is no database.

The site also stores nothing in your browser: no cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no fingerprinting scripts. You can verify that yourself in your browser's developer tools.

2. What our hosting sees

Like every website, ours is reached through servers that keep ordinary technical logs — your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and the response given. These exist to keep the site online and to block attacks, not to build a profile of you.

  • Cloudflare sits in front of the site and serves it from a location near you. Cloudflare processes request data on our behalf, including your IP address, for delivery and security.
  • Our origin server keeps standard web server logs.

If Cloudflare needs to check that a request is not automated, it may set a short-lived security cookie. That is a security measure rather than a tracking one, and it is not something Thailand Kids configures or reads.

3. Fonts loaded from Google

The pages use two typefaces, Playfair Display and IBM Plex Sans, loaded from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. To deliver them, Google receives your IP address and browser details. We use Google's service because it is fast and free; we receive nothing back from it, and no Google account is involved.

This is the only third party your browser contacts while simply reading the site.

4. If you email us

Addresses at thailandkids.org are handled by Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to a single shared mailbox hosted by Google. So an email you send us passes through Cloudflare and is stored by Google, in addition to being read by us.

We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful to the conversation and to the ministry's records. We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us, and we do not pass your message to anyone outside the ministry unless a safeguarding concern requires it — which is set out in the child protection policy.

Because mail is forwarded, our reply may arrive from a gmail.com address. That is still us.

5. If you give

Every donate and sponsorship button on this site opens give.foursquare.org, the Foursquare Foundation's own giving platform, in a new tab. From that point you are on their website, under their privacy policy and their security.

Thailand Kids never sees, handles or stores your card number. What reaches us is the gift notification: your name, your email address, the amount and level you chose, and a reference number.

6. What we keep about sponsors

To keep the promises made on this site — the welcome, the letters, the annual report, the child your giving supports — we keep a simple record of each sponsor: name, email address, giving level, start date, what has been sent and when.

That record is used to run the sponsorship relationship and for nothing else. It is never sold, rented, swapped or shared with other organisations, and it is not used to target advertising anywhere.

7. Children's information

The information we hold about the children in our programmes is governed by a separate and stricter standard than this page. No child is identified on this website by full name, and no image is captioned with a village. What may be shared with a sponsor, and what may never be, is set out in full in the child protection and safeguarding policy.

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

8. Your choices

  • Ask what we hold about you. Email us and we will tell you.
  • Correct it. Tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
  • Have it deleted. We will remove what we are not required to keep for financial or safeguarding records.
  • Stop hearing from us. Say so, and we stop. Cancelling a gift is done on the Foursquare platform you gave through.

All of it goes to [email protected].

9. Changes to this policy

If the site gains something that collects information — a contact form, a newsletter, analytics — this page will say so in the same deploy that adds it. The date below is the plain record of when it was last true.

Effective 21 September 2026. Thailand Kids Ministry, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Questions about this policy: [email protected].

Nothing here should be a surprise.

If something on this page does not match what you find when you look, tell us — that is a bug in the policy or a bug in the site, and either one is worth knowing about.
